South Park
Recreation Center
1141 Massachusetts St.Located in historic South Park, this building sits on the west side of Massachusetts Street,
across the street from the William Kelly Bandstand. It was originally constructed in 1963 and
has been remodeled multiple times since.
South Park Recreation Center is open daily for activity registrations
and facility reservations and also hosts numerous Parks and Recreation activities from ballroom
dancing to yoga classes. The facility houses two multi-purpose rooms, perfect for reunions or parties
and a conference room ideal for meetings that are available for rent.
The facility includes:
- Kathy Fode room w/ kitchenette ($18 per hour; capacity of 75 individuals)
- Sunflower room ($18 per hour; capacity of 45 individuals)
- Conference room ($10 per hour; capacity of 20 individuals)
Facility reservations can be made on a space available basis by calling 832-7930. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance.
