Learn the basics of map and compass reading skills. Learn how wildlife navigates using landmarks, magnetism and the stars.( Students should be able to multiple with fractions and/or decimals. )(Year round)

Go from awareness to action in a class about the impact of garbage on our environment, wildlife, and ourselves. (Year round)
Seas of Grass-The Prairie Ecosystem
Explore the plants and animals of the Kansas prairie ecosystems. Students will
study how the prairie grasses and wildflowers support a wide diversity of
animal life in a harsh environment. (Year round)
The Forest World-The Woodland Ecosystem
Explore the plants and animals of the Kansas woodlands. Students will identify
common Kansas trees, explore the forest food chains and look for signs of woodland
wildlife.
Wonders of Wetlands-The Wetland Ecosystem
Explore the plants and animals of the Kansas wetlands. Students will collect and
identify pond invertebrates and study their relationship to water quality.
Going, Going, Gone-Species in Danger
Explore the reasons that animals and plants become endangered. Meet animals
affected by human impact on the environment and find out how to take steps to
protect them.
