Ludlam Park

2800 West 9th Street

HISTORY
Ludlam Park was acquired by the city in 1953 and is 1.4-acres.

The park is named after George Ludlam and sits across the street from Sunset Hills Elementary School.

DESCRIPTION OF PARK
Tucked among a row of houses and across from a local elementary school, Ludlam Park provides a break of open space in this neighborhood.

One of Lawrence's pesticide-free parks, Ludlam Park also houses playground equipment, benches, and grills available for public-use.

The amenities of the park include:

  • Benches

There are no shelters located in Ludlam Park.




Reservations for outdoor shelters and indoor facilities are taken at any of the community recreation centers including the Community Building, 115 West 11th St.; East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 East 15th St.; Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 West 27th St.; Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive and South Park Recreation Center, 1141 Massachusetts St.
