Tuesday, September 4, 2007GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATED AT INDOOR AQUATIC CENTER
LAWRENCE – Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will celebrate Grandparents Day at the Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Dr., (adjacent to Free State High School) Sunday, Sept. 9.
From 1 to 5:45 p.m., admission to the pool is free for grandparents when accompanied by a grandchild. Kids and adults can enjoy the water slides, diving boards, interactive spray features, water volleyball areas and water basketball areas. There is also zero-depth entry for easy water access.

There will be an additional Grandparents Day this fall on Sunday, Nov. 11.
