FISH’N 4 FUN DESIGNED FOR LITTLE ANGLERS
LAWRENCE – Hooks, lines and worms help make the “big catch” a reality at Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Fish’N 4 Fun fishing derby.

Children, ages 13 and younger, are invited to participate in this annual event from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 15, at Mary’s Lake, located off the trail near Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St.

The cost to participate is $5 per child. All child anglers are asked to provide their own fishing poles and bait. This is a catch/release event.

Parents are asked to provide supervision for children. Children are not required to hold a fishing license; however parents and/or guardians must be licensed to fish.
