Wednesday, October 24, 2007KIDS LEARN HEALTHY HABITS IN A FUN ENVIRONMENT
LAWRENCE – Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is continuing to accept enrollment in Stretch N’ Grow, “the fabulously fun fitness program for kids.”
Stretch N’ Grow kids will focus on the development of motor skills, creative thinking, problem solving and socialization. The class will also emphasize issues such as safety, self-esteem and nutrition through games, music and stories every week.
Sessions begin Tuesday, Oct. 30. A section for children ages 18 months to 2 years is offered from 9-9:30 a.m. and a section for children ages 3 to 5 years is offered from 9:45-10:15 a.m.
