LAWRENCE – The dedication of the new park in west Lawrence, DeVictor Park, 1100 George Williams Way, will be held at 4 p.m. today.
After a short ceremony, a trail walk will conclude the dedication. The event is free and open to the public. Comfortable shoes are encouraged to be worn for the trail walk.
The park is named for the longtime director of Lawrence Parks and Recreation, Fred DeVictor.
