Tuesday, October 2, 2007CLINTON LAKE SOFTBALL COMPLEX BATTING CAGES CLOSED UNTIL SPRING
LAWRENCE-The batting cages at the Clinton Lake Softball Complex, 5101 Speicher Rd., have been closed for the season.
The facility was scheduled to close Oct. 14, but over the weekend vandals damaged the coin-operated machine. Repairs will not be completed in time to reopen before its scheduled closing date.
The complex’s batting cages offer several stations for various skill levels, including slow-pitch, fast-pitch, major league, minor league and rookie stations. They will be made available the middle of April 2008.
