Monday, November 19, 2007CREATE UNIQUE GIFTS IN PETITE PICASSOS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
LAWRENCE – Space is still available in Petite Picassos for the Holidays, a holiday-themed art class for children ages 1-2 and a parent or caregiver.
Each child will paint three 8"x10" canvas boards using the colors of the holiday his or her family celebrates, and create a simple holiday craft. All of these projects will make perfect gifts.
Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is offering several sessions of Petite Picassos. The class will be offered from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. and 10:15-10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St. The fee for the class is $12.
