CELEBRATE A MONTH OF GIVING AT THE INDOOR AQUATIC CENTER
LAWRENCE – Celebrate a Month of Giving with Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Aquatic Division and help out others in the community while enjoying a swim at the Indoor Aquatic Center, 4709 Overland Dr.

With a donation of a non-perishable food item or $1 donation, patrons will receive a reduced admission rate at the Indoor Aquatic Center throughout the Month of Giving now through Nov. 21. The reduced admission rates are in effect for all hours that the pools are open.

By bringing a canned food item or donating $1, patrons will receive admission to the aquatic center for only $1, which includes access to both the competitive and family pools.

Donated food items will benefit the Ballard Community Center’s food pantry, 708 Elm St., and money donations will help support the Lawrence Community Shelter, 214 W. 10th St.

For more information regarding the Month of Giving or the aquatic division, contact Jai Hoyer, aquatic programmer, at 832-SWIM (7946).
