CHINESE ACROBATS TO PERFORM IN SOUTH PARK
LAWRENCE -To kick off summer, Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will host the Fabulous Chinese Acrobats for two performances Wednesday, June 11, in historic South Park, 1 141 Massachusetts St.

The team will perform at 1 p.m. on the west side of South Park, north of the South Park Recreation Center. They will then hold a second performance at 6:30 p.m. on the east side of South Park, southwest of the William Kelly Bandstand, prior to the City Band Concert at 8 p.m. Both performances are free and open to the public.

The Chinese acrobats have been on tour throughout the year entertaining, as well as educating in schools across the United States. From balancing objects and spinning plates to juggling while atop a unicycle, the acrobats will amaze and fascinate as they provide insight into Chinese cultures and customs.
