BATTING CAGES OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE
LAWRENCE – The batting cages at Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Clinton Lake Softball Complex, 5101 Speicher Rd., are now open to the public.

The facility features four slow pitch softball stations, two fast pitch softball stations, one major league baseball station, two minor league baseball stations and one rookie station. One token buys 20 pitches; tokens may be purchased on site at a cost of $1 per token or seven tokens for $5.

In addition, tokens may also be purchased at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St., at a rate of 15 tokens for $10 or 25 tokens for $15.

Facility hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through April 14. Extended hours of 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. will begin April 15 to Oct. 1.
