LAWRENCE-Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department.s Special Events Division and Downtown Lawrence, Inc. have cancelled the movie, Notorious, scheduled for tonight due to the forecasted threat of inclement weather.
Downtown Movies: Film Noir Outdoor Film Festival.s next feature will be the 1946 feature The Postman Always Rings Twice held Thursday, July 3, in the grassy area at New Hampshire St. and 9th Sts. by the parking garage. The event starts at 8 p.m. with live music, prize drawings at 9 p.m. followed by the movie starting at 9:15 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
