Tuesday, July 3, 2007BROWN BAG AND CITY BAND CONCERTS CONTINUE THIS WEEK
LAWRENCE - Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department's two summer concert series will continue this week with performances by the Lawrence City Band and Borderline Country.
The Lawrence City Band Summer Concert Series will continue at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, at the William Kelly Bandstand located in historic South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St. This week the band will perform its 4th of July Celebration.
The Brown Bag Concert Series also continues this week. Borderline Country will perform at noon on Thursday, July 5, in front of U.S. Bank, 900 Massachusetts St. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at Watkins Community Museum, 1047 Massachusetts St.
Both of these concerts are free and open to the public.
