Thursday, January 8, 2009ZUMBA JAM PARTY TO BE HELD
LAWRENCE- Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will hold its first ever Zumba Jam Party from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St.
The two-hour workout party features routines which fuse Latin music and easy to follow moves, creating an unforgettable exercise experience. The class will be led by two certified Zumba instructors.
Zumba Jam Party is a great opportunity for those who would like to experience a high-energy Zumba class without making the full commitment of enrolling in a weekly program. Cost of the event is $5. Pre-registration is required.
In addition to the program on Jan. 18, other Jam Parties will be held on the following Sundays: Feb. 22, Mar. 29 and Apr. 26. Each program will cost $5 to attend.
