Friday, January 23, 2009SPINNING CLASS DEMONSTRATIONS TO BE HELD AT COMMUNITY BUILDING
LAWRENCE – Time to get the wheels rolling on physical fitness for the New Year. Literally.
Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will hold four free Spinning class demonstrations for those interested in trying out the class before it begins in February. The demonstrations will take place in the spinning room of the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St.
The dates and times for the four free demonstrations are as follows:
- Saturday, January 24, from 8:40-9:10 a.m. and 9:20-9:50 a.m.
- Tuesday, January 27, from 5:30-6 p.m. and 6:10-6:40 p.m.
Only 10 workout bicycles are available for participants during each demonstration. Because there are such a low number of bicycles available, those interested should sign up as soon as possible. Participants will need to sign a waiver upon arrival to the demonstartion.
For more information or to sign up for the free demonstration, call 832-7930 or stop by South Park Recreation Center, 1141 Massachusetts St.
