Wednesday, January 7, 2009LIMITED SPACE REMAINS FOR UPCOMING DADDY/DAUGHTER DATE NIGHT
LAWRENCE- Limited space remains for Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s 7th Annual Daddy/Daughter Date Night from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24.
The event is open to girls ages 6 to 12 years old and their father or guardian. It will be held at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, Building 21, 2100 Harper St.
The cost of the event is $32 for dad and one daughter. Cost for additional daughters to attend is $16 per child. The price includes a buffet-style dinner, beverages, photo, flower and dance competitions, which will take place throughout the night. Dads and daughters are encouraged to dress up for the fiesta-themed event.
