Friday, December 5, 2008PANCAKE BREAKFAST WITH SANTA QUICKLY APPROACHING
LAWRENCE – Santa Claus is coming to town, and he is going to be hungry! Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Special Events Division will host Breakfast with Santa from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Community Building, 115 W. 11th St.
Breakfast will feature pancakes prepared by Chris Cakes, “Kansas City’s original pancake flippers.” Sausage and orange juice will also be provided. In addition, children will have the opportunity to create holiday arts and crafts and get their faces painted.
Pre-registration for the event is encouraged, but those who would like to attend may also pay at the door. The fees are $7 for children 3 to12 years old and $9 for people 13 years old and up.
