Friday, August 8, 2008FALL ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL EXHIBITORS BEING ACCEPTED
LAWRENCE –Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Special Events Division is continuing to accept registrations for exhibitors at the 29th Annual Fall Arts and Crafts Festival being held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St.
The fee for exhibitors is $50 for a 10’x10’ outdoor space. Exhibitors will be responsible for providing display units. There will be table and fence panels available for rent on a first-come, first-serve basis. Electricity hookups are also available on a limited basis for an additional $20.
The entry deadline for exhibitors is 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3. Registrations forms may be obtained at any Parks and Recreation facility or online at www.lprd.org/classes.shtml.
Exhibitors will be allowed to set up starting at 7:30 a.m. the day of the festival. Items made from commercial kits or items of a commercial nature will not be accepted. Also, no commercial jewelry vendors will be accepted.
