PARKS AND RECREATION ADDS NEW WATER FITNESS CLASSES
LAWRENCE – Lawrence Parks and Recreation’s Aquatics Division has announced the addition of another section of Jivin’ Joints and a new class called the Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program for its fall 2008 session.

Jivin’ Joints is designed to offer gentle range of motion and endurance activities in warm water to increase flexibility, strength, balance and coordination. It wil be held 10:15 to 11 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Dr. The Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program will meet at 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. Monday and Wednesday at Carl Knox Natatorium, 1901 Louisiana St., located on the Lawrence High School campus.

Both programs are led by a trained Arthritis Foundation instructor.

There are also several spots still remaining in other water classes for the fall session, so sign up today.
