LAWRENCE – Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Mutt Run Dog Park, 1330 E. 902 Rd., will be closed during road construction being conducted on East 902 Road, beginning Monday, March 16. East 902 Road is the only access point to the dog park, as well as the Outlet Park and shelters. click for more.

SPRING ARTS AND CRAFTS FEST TO BE HELD
Lawrence - Lawrence Parks and Recreation Special Events Division will host the Spring Arts and Crafts Fest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 7. The event will be at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, Buildings 1, 2, and 21, located at 2120 Harper St. click for more.

HOT SHOT BASKETBALL CONTEST TO BE HELD
Lawrence - Lawrence Parks and Recreation will hold the Hot Shot Basketball Contest for youth ages 9 to 16 years old, 2:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St. and Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St. Both facilities will hold duplicate contests simultaneously. click for more.
